Re-did my re-design of the defenders i did a long time ago. same idea as before where i had the New Defenders as younger heroes, almost like teen titans. But in the one i had before: [link]
, i made stretches for the characters that i didn't really dig. Gauntlet was a character i had just made up for a leader, he was very LOOSELY based on thunderstrike who wasn't really a big member of the defenders. and i had the sub-mariner on there, but it was like a younger clone who was a joking jock who was full of himself, not too much like Namor. and the original cloud i had no idea who or what she/he was so i turned her into a ninja chick.

But now i think i'm diggin this, i got a team i like, and made it so that they could randomly team up with other random defenders members allowing me to do more redesigns. I didn't want to do the original 4 younger: hulk, namor, dr strange, and silver surfer. so i just adapted the later members:

Gargoyle, Valkyrie, Nighthawk (the black version), clea, and hellcat.

I much prefer this version to your original, however i dont see why Valkyrie cant have both weapons! i would like to see redesigns of the other charaters as well...(goes to check if there are more)

Glad to help! I'd still like to see youthfull versions of Hulk, Surfer, Namor, and Dr. Strange...maybe even later members iceman, angel, cloud...etc. it'd give you an excuse to make more Mini Masters!
